I have had root beers, root beer extracts, root beer candy, root beer liquor, and root beer iced green tea. But never, ever did I expect to come across root beer flavoured milk! This is groundbreaking stuff.
I don’t even know how to review this. It’s… milky. Yep. This is not surprising because it came from the udder of a cow. It is a brownish colour, like watered down (milked down?) chocolate milk. It is very sweet, and tastes somewhat like a melted root beer float, except imagine that it’s a lump of root beer flavoured ice cream melted into a big glass of milk. It has no carbonation (thankfully). The best approximation I can muster is a steamed milk with a shot of rootbeer flavour… but cooled down.
Obviously this product defies classification, or even a rating. I suggest you try it yourself. The company, Shatto Milk (pronounced “Chateau”), sources from hormone-free cows off of their own family farm, and distributes in nifty glass bottles. They have a complete line of weirdly-flavoured milks, including chocolate, banana, and cotton candy. Keep up the creativity guys!

Thank you for your help. Sincerely yours, Robert wise.
We’re not the milk company, just a reviewer! I recall it costing a couple of dollars for a pint, but check your local grocery store.
I don’t sell the milk, only review it! But I recall it costing a couple of dollars for a pint.
