Another canned “all-natural” root beer – uh-oh! True to form, it was watery, very light, and highly carbonated. It had a very light and tinny flavour and was not too sweet. In fact, it tasted like soda water with a tiny bit of Root Beer Cordial added for a hint of flavour. Hansen’s is to real root beer what Wild Vines is to wine.

Love the Hanson Brands of Sodas but the Root Beer is horrible.
Waaaaay over-carbonated. Hardly any flavor.
Very very little root beer flavor. I’m always looking for a great root beer. I have tried every brand out there the one I found the best is Frost Top
What ever happen to the “Ginger Beer”.
I’m surprised by the review. I don’t consider myself a root beer aficionado, but about two years ago when I saw this in a store cold case and noticed it was cane sugar-sweetened, I decided to try it. I found it light and refreshing with just the right balance of mint and vanilla – not overpowering. I’ve purchased several cases since then.
